
Graduation
Picture yourself at The Ohio State University's commencement. You have completed all requirements for a baccalaureate degree(s), and this day is the culmination of your career as an undergraduate student.
You have taken many important steps and have had many experiences to get to this point in your life. In addition to meeting the necessary academic requirements for your degree, there are many other important steps to take in order to prepare you for graduation.
Dates and deadlines for applying to graduate
Steps for applying to graduate:
- Apply no later than the 6th Friday of the quarter you intend to graduate and no earlier than one quarter prior.
- Meet with your major advisor to verify that your major requirements are completed.

If you have not consulted with your major advisor, please contact them to schedule an appointment prior to filing your application in 100 Denney Hall (West Lobby), 164 West 17th Ave.

If a Major/Minor Program Form is needed, please bring a signed copy with you. You may pick the forms in 100 Denney Hall (West Lobby), 164 West 17th Ave. You may also download the forms here.

- Schedule an appointment with an Arts and Sciences advisor to file your graduation application.
- After you meet with your Arts and Sciences academic advisor and your graduation application is on file, there are other important things to do. Refer to this checklist often.
