Access Your Academic Information: Be Proactive!

  • Make an appointment to see your Arts and Sciences academic advisor by calling (614) 292-6961.
  • Make an appointment to see your major advisor.
  • Order a transcript online. Click on "Transcripts" on the far right side.
  • Use the Buckeye Link web site to access your academic information. From Buckeye Link, you can:

    • view your degree audit report—check progress toward your degree ("Grades and Advising" tab)
    • view your unofficial transcript (a summary of your Ohio State academic history, also known as the advising report) ("Grades and Advising" tab)
    • order an official transcript ("Grades and Advising" tab)
    • view your grades from any quarter ("Grades and Advising" tab)
    • register for courses ("Course Planning" tab)
    • view your approved course schedule ("Course Planning" tab)
    • add or drop student health insurance ("Course Planning" tab)
    • use the Master Schedule to find course offerings by quarter/year ("Course Planning" tab)
    • use the Course Offerings Bulletin to find course descriptions by quarter/year ("Course Planning" tab)
    • check for open courses ("Course Planning" tab) (Note: registration is open through midnight Friday of the first week of classes.)
    • check your course permissions ("Course Planning" tab)
    • check your position in your waitlisted classes ("ourse Planning" tab)
    • report a change in your address or phone number("Other Services" tab) (Note: if you fail to update your address and phone number, we may be unable to contact you at critical times.)
